Life in a small town

I was born and raised in Austin, Texas and watched as it became a huge city. It is simply NOT the place it used to be when I was a kid. ¬†Things are just not as easy as they were back then. A simple trip to karate class consumed about 2 hours of a day, when it should have been a 5 minute drive there and 5 minutes back. The grocery store was ALWAYS a mad house – making it a nightmare to take small children with you, let alone attempt to make an emergency Sunday run for dinner. HERE is different. Calm. Some might say slow; but for me, it’s just what I needed. It is so refreshing to get a smile and a wave from the people you see everyday. While I have only been here a month so far, I can tell that I will like it here just fine.

A few shots of my clan since it has been a while since I’ve done so. These are not the “house” pics I have promised, but just random shots I sneaked while getting settled in. I promise I will get some great shots of the new abode when time permits.

AND … if you don’t know already. My new studio is located at 127 Colorado La Grange, Texas 78945.

This one is actually from before we moved, but I cannot remember if I ever posted it. They look so small then…:)

AND THIS, my friends, is our pot belly pig “Piper”. She used to fit in the palm of my hand, and now I cannot even lift her anymore…
